FAQs
What services do you offer?
1
We offer solar panel cleaning, inspection, and repairs for residential properties and small businesses across the island of Kauai, Hi. While we can clean and inspect any system, we primarily provide repair services for systems that are owned, not leased or managed by other providers.
Additionally, we provide maintenance and repair services for a range of smaller engines; we do not do factory warranty work for any small engine repairs.
Why don’t you service leased solar systems?
2
When a system is leased, it is typically warranted by the provider. If that system is repaired or modified by a secondary party, the contract with the original provider is generally voided. To protect your interests, we generally do not service systems that are under these support plans. However, we are able to service systems where the hardware is still covered under the factory warranty.
How do you handle parts?
3
Use of OEM and Secondary Parts - Our team prioritizes the use of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts for all repairs and replacements involving solar systems, including panels and inverters. Whenever it is possible, OEM components will be sourced and installed to ensure quality and compatibility.
Warranty Replacements - In addition to using OEM parts, we strive to secure warranty replacements for solar system components when applicable. This process helps to maintain the integrity and reliability of the system by utilizing manufacturer-backed solutions.
Secondary Parts Usage - There may be situations where OEM parts are not available. In such cases, we may opt to use secondary parts to complete necessary repairs or replacements. This ensures that system functionality can be restored even when OEM components are not accessible.
Customer-Supplied Parts- If you have already obtained a replacement part independently, our technicians may be able to install the part for you. However, please note that we are unable to provide any warranty coverage for parts that are not supplied through our channels.
